multi-market imaging fx?

I'm been searching the web over the past few days trying to find new, clean, punchy, multi-market imaging effects. Do they even exist? Everything I've come across is market-exclusive and if it isn't, it generally sucks.

Can anyone shed some light on where to find some quality packages/CD's for the independent imager?

Thanks!

Joe

I inherited a great disc a while back, then lost it. Dunno who made it, and when googling it only 10 million results come up. It was called "Weapons", had maybe 200-250 cuts on it, tons of stingers, elements, music parts & pieces... in general it was great for making production music sound unique in a short amount of time. Anyone else ever run across this disc or something similiar? I primarily work with a Megacraps library that is mostly made for trailers or scoring.

Wouldn't an annual producers "swap meet" be really handy?

Pretty sure "Weapons" was a Brown Bag release, which means it wouldn't fit the bill for "multi-market imaging sfx"... I believe all of Brown Bag's older stuff was single station, cash lease, annually renewable. Now they're strictly barter (and still single-station) through Premiere.

I know an imaging guy working of some stuff. He has a lot of music beds and he's just starting to make some effects. His Christmas sfx were pretty good, not sure how the rest of them sound. You can download some samples at his website, www.drakedonovan.com.

Jeff - I'm a big fan of Ian's stuff, but again, it's a single-market license. I think when it first started it wasn't but definitely is now.

Just as update, I talked with Ian at Big Fish about working out a deal and he hooked me up. I'm noticing he's got the ChaseCuts going sound on a lot of his elements and I'd recommend to anyone.

For any others looking right now, I'm also considering Emmett's work at newaudioproductions.com sometime in the future. Very inexpensive and should make for some good additional tools for my box. Additionally, AJ at audiochopshop.com is also producing some cool sounds through his services. Tell them I sent you.
