Multiple "Formats" on 1 Station (depends on time of day/week)

I've worked at stations with a"Party Line", usually that was the opinion show. Back in those days it was usually "the traffic light at 3rd and main takes too long" type stuff.
A station that I worked for had what they called the "Livewire" program. The station called all of the local fire halls (or community centers, whatever) within their listening area to get any "news" from the communities that they served. Usually, it was sort of "gossipy."

Bob Sievers on WOWO would call all the law enforcement agencies in the 50000 watt listening area to ask what was going on. Most of the time it was nothing, maybe an accident, but sometimes there was something serious or funny.
