Muppets To Rewrite "History"

The Muppets have already "reenacted" plenty of historical events, as some of these Sesame Street clips indicate:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdM7fJAgXHI (The Muppets portray the Founding Fathers choosing the National Bird)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ar6cFIfPFW4&feature=relmfu (Kermit's "Sesame Street News" flash at the Boston Tea Party, but the Muppet colonists instead throw anything beginning with the letter T into Boston Harbor)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCWaKIqxYUI (Kermit and "Sesame Street News" at the scene of young George Washington chopping down his father's cherry trees)

That might be a rewrite of history, right there! There was more than one cherry tree chopped down? I'm thinking that this whole cherry tree incident is nothing more than urban legend, anyway.

I prefer Mr. Peabody & Sherman for *my* history.....

WB tried that cartoon called "Histeria!" in the 90s, to qualify for E/I, I suppose....it bombed big time, did it not?

Have there ever been any popular non-PBS E/I shows? besides maybe Saved by the Bell(but today's kids don't watch that) or some Nick Jr. shows

How some of these shows like "S.B.T.B." get an E/I are totally beyond me....
