Music Beds

Join www.NewMusicServer and there are a ton of instrumentals you can download for free.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Seriously, don't do that. If you use recognizable instrumentals, just to talk over, you're going to piss off a larger segment of your audience than you really want to think about.

The difference is if you are using an instrumental as a loop either in or out of the same song. I don't have a problem with that, but using instrumentals, just to use them.... bad move.

Nobody cares. Play whatever music beds you want.

Oh really? How many 18-34 females do you know? TRUST ME, they care. If you're using an instrumental to a song they either A) really like or B) haven't heard in a long time and you play it long enough to make them think you're going to play the song... and then don't, it WILL make them mad.

Who cares about a 18-34 female? If it's a good beat, play it. Nobody cares. Especially women.

Do you know anything about this format? 70-80% of your audience IS 18-34 female.

Anyway, it depends. If your beat is something familiar like Sexy Back, they'll care. The only instance where this works is if you add the bed to the beginning of the song and then play the original song afterwards.

Okay, Dylan.. or should I say, "Space Cadet?"

Who?

Anyway, the content over the music bed is most important.

What a pointless discussion. What are we going to get into next? The fact that the Top 40 format needs to "stop being so rhythmic"??? hahahaha. Good luck on that one.

Dylan. Nights/MD. KHTT/ Tulsa.

You've posted only in threads that I'm involved in and only in response to my posts, thus far.

Sorry. Don't know the guy.

But I have a great music bed from Ludacris called "Money Maker" that I am using on this next break. Hold on.
