Music Choice's Dance channel

They really program this cable radio channel well... Great tracks - new and recurrents. Not too much cheezy pop remixes and alot of real dance artists...
 
It's like XM/Sirius or AOL Radio, dance is part of the package, and it has to be different from their CHR channel.
 
Unfortunately, Sirius' The Beat doesnt come close to Music Choice's dance channel... sirius should copy their playlist. The Beat is really beat these days.... but now that I have Pulse, I have no reason to tune in to the Beat... Besides BBC Radio 1, my sirius doesnt get much love these days...
 
What about Sirius' "Area 33"? Does that do anything for you or is it too underground? I ask as I see a lot of people using that station as the Sirius Dance fix. They are also monitored in Mediabase.

Thats good that you ask this question John, Area 33 is the only Dance channel on Sirius I can listen to, except for (Dance Friendly) BBC1. I do think the playlist on Area 33 should be a bit bigger, but its kinda programed in a Hits format.

You see, Area 33 plays only the top most popular Trance and Progressive stuff around, so even though their playlist is kinda small, they dont play a bunch of stiffs. Everything Area 33 plays is either a big hit for the big name DJs, or its something getting a good amount of play on European station's.

What I am trying to say is, its pretty much a Hit Based Underground station if that makes sense. Its not just a bunch of random instrumentals from Promo Only like some of the Trance stations on Shoutcast.
