Music City Bowl on radio?

Will the game today be on the radio? Went to the Zone web site and the last update was for the week of Dec.7th.

Preds have a game tonight, but CitadelNash wants to keep the Music City Bowl in house -- it'll be broadcast on 103.3.

The Zone's done a fairly good job of keeping their schedule up to date in the past couple of years, but if they realized how much people depend on their Web schedule, I would think they'd make it more of a priority. Heck, as much as I alone refer to it, you'd think sponsors would line up just to advertise on the page.

So the Bowl web site has a link to the zone....the zone has nothing about the game and wkdf has nothing about the game. Bet the Bowl is happy about that.

...yeah when stations run skeleton crews all year and then they take unused vacation time the last two weeks of the year the 'spread thin and forgetting details' really shows.
Even with a local bowl it was basically a syndicated product, just another slot on the log to be filled. You'd hope somebody would call this to their attention but I can hear the excuses already.

That's probably one of the least of the Bowl's worries. They just want to make sure they're connected with the top-rated sports station.

Who should care are the Bowl's radio sponsors... and CitadelNash should care more about making sure there's a clearer pathway from the point at which listeners learn who has the play-by-play to the point at which the sponsors' messages enter the listeners' ears...

Funny I remember a time when stuff like this would happen and some would call for my head on a stick...haha

I always wondered what that thing with the eyes was on top of the Rutledge Hill tower!

Funny how the next person in the job always seems to get away with the stuff you got yours chewed over. I especially hate it when you put in all the sweat and toil to get a major project up and running, constantly fighting battles to defend it all the way, only to have the GM come in, slap you on the back, take all the credit, then can you and turn it over to an a kid working minimum — who ends up ruining it. Later the GM tells everyone the reason you got let go was because of your lousy work on the major project.

By the way, howabout the latest 12+ trend showing the Zoners at #7? Are the yout' of Middle Tennessee finally gettin' hip to ol' Uncle George?

Well.....kind of in my case but I think you know what went down jetfli...

Yeah, but what I was describing is something that seemed to happen to me... But I think it's happened to a lot of us, too.

Kent you had the best books the Zone has had period...great revenue and were well liked we all know that could not be tolerated and by whom !!
You not only had the best overall ratings but 6a-7p adults 25-54 you ruled...fringe was just that you kept the focus where it mattered...you were communicative and fun....you showed up at events...worked most of them and knew your audience because you shook their hand!

word from rutledge that kent also held up the front desk better than anyone or any wood bracket...since he spent the majority of his time out there leaning against it....clip board in hand.

seriously, compare the zone today with the zone then...it's no comparison. sorry, none. its one of the tighter radio stations in this market. if only our 997 team here did as good a job.

Well if you say so but you can't go to the web site to find out when to catch a game. Out dated again and when did Darren come back? The first story in "TOP STORIES" This Weekend's Play-By-Play Lineup On The Zone says " And the reaction to the game? George, Willy and Darren have that handled afternoons ...Read More" click on the lnk... takes you to....you guessed it... an out dated schedule. Oh and don't look for school closings.....tight,very tight.
