Music formats on Sirius/XM?

With Liberty Media now having control over Sirius/XM what will become of the music formats? Will some combine, be dropped

Thoughts,

Just dreaming out loud here, but perhaps they will drop all of those simualcasts of TV channels, most of those talk stations (especially the political ones) and most of those artist only channels and spread that newly unused bandwidth around their music channels so the sound quality of their receivers equals the sound quality of their internet / smartphone feeds.

I like that...of course the weather and sports would have to go too.

I can see them holding on to CNBC, and Weather Channel because of Travelers and Stock Brokers. Those political channels keep subscribers from turning them off and going back to radio.

The talk channels are a profit center for SXM, as they sell advertising on the talk channels but not on the music channels.

I have an Internet subscription and I am amazed how much better SXM sounds on line. Why can't we get that great sound from the receivers? The stereo separation is so much more pronounced listening on line.
