Music Licensing - cough splutter

Reading the history here, there was talk of having to get ascap/bmi/sesac licensing etc, and BMI went for an approach to Pt 15 broadcasters, however the links appear invalid and I can see no mention on any of their websites?

Do we now what the latest is?

According to one reliable source, I've been informed that they gave up.

I also believe that's correct, and BMI has removed all reference to it.

The music industry is going after Internet radio now big time.
