Music on 790

T

Those RRRRs

Guest
Since the weather has warmed up I have been hearing oldies in the background on 790 through the talk shows in the middle of the night after they drop their power.

The other night, Smokey Robinson was actually coming in more loud and clear than George Noory for a couple of minutes. I've heard this on two different nights now.

Anyone have any idea where this oldies station is coming from and why it is drowning out 790?

shouldn't u be able to answer your own questions about where u work? lol

Thanks for hijacking not one, but two of my posts for no intelligent reason. I don't work in radio and I've never set foot in WAEB.

Could there be an intelligent answer out there or just more nonsense from Mad Magazine?

The Coast To Coast program uses bumper music as intros and outros. Sometimes they let the music play for a while before resuming their discussions. Their website list all songs they played durong the broadcast. www.coasttocoastam.com
