Music on WORD-FM

It sounds to me like the music has a little too much midrange and no top end at all, which works okay for their spoken word programming, but not so much for pop music. Do they not run different equalization levels for the music programming? If not, why don't they brighten up the equalizer for music?

I Don't listen to word that often, but do they play music on the station every day or just the weekends?

It is just on the weekends, at least according to their website.

I don't listen to it too often either, but sometimes I like the CCM mix they have on the weekend.

I just seemed to think it sounded different than music on other stations; like I said earlier, no top end and somewhat heavy on the mids.
