After Katie Walls left, they brought in Jennifer Lopez (not JLo) for the evening forecasts over the weekend. She said "it's always great to be back." When was she on 2 before and is she just filling in until they find a=someone permanent?
 
FOX 5 too as Todd Borek and Doug Evans pop up doing the weather from time to time.

Why is it CBS 46 wont add Alexandra Steele officially to the team? She’s been doing weather on weekend mornings for years now.

Don’t know her personally, but from the looks of her home when she did (does) the socially distancing weathercasts, she might be independently wealthy. If so, she can work only when she want’s too. Or she has another job that pays better than 46 can or will and she can't do weekday fill ins. She could be doing weather as a "back up" or hobby.

The reason why Alexandra is not officially on the CBS46 PinPoint Weather Team is because when she's not on in weekend mornings, she is a part-time TWC (The Weather Channel) contributor. Todd Borek also works part-time at TWC when he's not doing freelance work. For a time, CBS46 did have former TWC meteorologist Vivian Brown work in weekend evenings. Then she left. Molly McCollum took Vivian's place and now, Molly is gone.
 
Now.... it appears Jennifer Valdez will weather 4,5,6 and 11pm. I think they moved Ella to mornings and Fred to weekends. So many changes
