A brand new production in three parts is now posted on airchexx.com! It's hosted by me (Steve West), Matt from Big Apple Airchecks (your co-moderator), and former WABC disc jockey Steve O'Brien. Listen to the reverb, the jingles and the format that so many stations tried to imitate but never could!

I hope many of you will come enjoy our Year End Special. www.airchexx.com or www.classicairchecks.com. Spread the word!

Also, there are plenty of new airchecks for this weekend, including an appropriately-timed 5 minute clip of Steve O'Brien on WCBS-FM from 2003!

See you online, and Happy New Year from Airchexx.com - Where Classic Radio Lives!
______________

I was very glad that Steve asked me to participate in this recreation, and as much as I loved WABC as a kid, and wanted to be "like" Dan Ingram as a DJ, I've always been a rock jock, and it really shows in the first half of this recreation. Steve offered to let me redo the entire thing, but unfortunately I just didn't have the time, and I didn't want to hold up his production. The best compliment I ask for is..."...he doesn't stink." Now let me do a WNEW-FM or WPLJ recreation, or even WAPP, and then I'll really rock!

Enjoy the Recreated WABC, thanks to Steve O'Brien for participating, and to my buddy Steve West for putting it together! Happy New Year to everyone!
______________

Would love to hear this production, but I can't find it on the web site anywhere. Has it already been taken down?

Sorry Bob, but is was only up for two days. We don't want the music police to come after us. However, if you join the Classic Aircheck Group at Yahoo, you can access one of the files there. Go to www.airchexx.com and click the join button. Matt
______________
