Mustard and Relish were on WRKO?

I didn't hear it, but Practical Progressive says on http://www.savewrko.com that those hot dogs
Mustard and Relish, er, Johnson, were on WRKO today. "Just when you thought morning fill-ins on WRKO couldn't get any worse, I turned on the car radio this morning to hear Craig Mustard and Larry Johnson debating the finer points of campaign finance reform. So let me get this straight. The most important foreign policy story of the year breaks yesterday with the assassination of Bhutto and Jason Wolfe turns to. . .the WEEI D-Listers. Remarkable."

Wait till 'RKO gives Frank from Gloucester a show. Ciao! If nobody else was around to fill in for
Finneran, maybe they coulda just simulcast D&C from WEEI. (No wait, someone was prob. filling in for them too)

It was Col. Mustard, in the conservatory, with the candelabra.

Painful doesn't even begin to cover it.......I thought Hedlund and O'Brien were the bottom of the barrel, but, alas, I was wrong.....these two clowns this morning take the cake and from what I heard, they will be back again on Monday, strap yourselves in kids, the fun has just begun!

Mustard and Johnson were "Club Med" compared to what has been on TKK since Noon. The Andelman brothers are killing the air with topics like "Shoveling out a parking Space in Boston" and why I hate New Years Eve.

To make matters worse, one is putting on the always phoney, "Hi out there, I'm Ron Radio voice." They're gagging me.

I do have a solution. I'm going to turn off my radio, turn on my speaker phone and listen to the dial tone. It will be a better audio experience, and will be more interesting than these two knit whits.

Is it safe to assume Mista Mustard lauged and giggled and tried to sound joyus when he'd announce "617-(hee hee) 266- (ha ha ha) 6868?

when WEEI first went all sports, the old Mustard and Doyle show was actually pretty decent. Then they switched to Imus.

I used to listen to that on 590 before I went to school...it was a good show, but I was only 12 or so at the time. I don't know if my ears have gotten better over the years, or if Mustard has totaly turned into an idiot. Maybe a little bit of both. What happend to Doyle?

got mule?

Tom Doyle hightailed it back to WVBF/WCLB/WKLB to return as Loren and Wally's sidekick. I believe when he first left, they were still WVBF. When he went back, they had flipped to country.

"The Andelman brothers"
I'd rather listen to "Delilah", while being waterboarded.

but that's not the Andelman who bombed on WEEI, is it? That was Mike and, you think Mustard and Johnson are bad, be thankful you never heard this guy's Saturday afternoon show. Painful...

Do these hosts have a realistic sense how bad they are? I listened for 15 seconds and a caller started off by saying (I swear I'm not making this up), "Great show, guys. My question is..." Great show, guys? Was that a relative who said that? A plant? I could just see the ego-meter creeping up in the brains of these two worthless radio hosts upon hearing 'Great Show!!!' come out of a caller's mouth. Sheesh...horrible, awful radio hosts who also have an inflated ego. Talk about the perfect storm...

Mustard and Johnson are hosting the pre-game show today on WEEI. The biggest regular season game in Patriot history and they have two morons who don't know whether a football is inflated or stuffed. Now I read that they were on 'RKO? Is someone pulling a joke?

I've always taken the pejorative remarks directed toward Jason Wolfe with a grain of salt.........up until now that is. His arrogance seems to know no bounds. He must feel that he can put anyone on the air and get away with it. What could M&J possibly have discussed on WRKO? Did their menagerie of usual callers call in? Mike from Canton, Joey from the North End, Frank from Gloucester, Screechy from Quincy, and the rest of the callers who are ridiculed when they dare to call another show?

I heard that the Commie and the Catfish were going to be on WRKO tomorrow morning. Mustard is an America-hating Marxist and Larry Johnson is barely literate. They are faking it with the sports show, but the 'EEI listeners aren't the brightest. What could they possibly talk about for four hours on WRKO? I may actually listen. This could be so stupid that it might be funny. Maybe Jason Wolfe is a genius.

Same here, I may listen for a few minutes just to witness the car crash. It is hard enough to listen to "Too Good for the Room"/"The Daily Persecuted for my Opinion at Work and in Public School Teacher" Mustard and the "Everything Should be Fair" Johnson attempting a sports conversation...but to actually think they are going to give social issues...wow, witness the zeppelin catch fire AND crash. That is too good to be true! But I have to rememebr to listen enough to hear the carnage but tune away so I don't actually contribute to ratings. God knows I wouldn't want to give that diaster some credibility!

Unless you have a diary, your listening is irrelevant to ratings.

I listened for about five minutes yesterday. They were talking about the importance of sports in everyone's daily life. I had to laugh. Who thought that these two bozos could be versatile enough to do a non-sports show? Perhaps if the topic was smarmy, underpaid teachers and affirmative action for cartoon plagiarists, they could sound moderately informed.

I didn't stick around to hear if Joey from the North End, Mike from Canton, or Screechy from Quincy called in.
