Muzak on HD2?

One thing that would actually get me to buy an IBOC receiver is if at least one station in every major market put Muzak's Foreground Music One (FM1) service on its HD2 channel, just like all the years when Muzak was available via analog FM SCA. But I'm sure they'd never do that, because the stunning variety in Muzak's playlist would put to shame anything radio stations could come up with by themselves.

Every time I walk into a store or restaurant playing Muzak, I hear songs which have never been played on U.S. radio -- not even on XM or Sirius. For example, "Sleep All Day" by Jason Mraz, or "Why Georgia" by John Mayer. In fact, just today I walked into a convenience store and I heard "Seven Year Ache" by Rosanne Cash -- then later in an auto parts store I heard "Walk On The Ocean" by Toad The Wet Sprocket... just to name a few songs you never hear on the radio. Here's a web site set up by an unusually dedicated Muzak fan, which details a lot of the music played by Muzak and some of its competitors:

It's a common mistake to not use punctuation in its proper form.

Why would Muzak want to move to HD? Even with HD, two of the SCA's will still exist. No reason to change...
