MXL V-900 Mic

I just bought one of these things from Musician's friend for $129.95. http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.co...ge-and-Studio-Condenser-Microphone?sku=273174 I really wasn't too concerned about how it sounded, since my main reason for the purchase is simply for "the look." It is reminiscent of an old RCA 44BX. It is not quite as big, but it is close, complete with a yoke mount. It is very retro looking, and will look great in our new "mobile unit" which is a retro 60's era studio on wheels. (A work in progress).

To my surprise, it actually sounds really good, at least on my voice. I just thought I mention it, since I know several of us like to look at microphones as much as we like to speak into them. This one is high on the eye candy scale. It even came with an aluminum briefcase and a Mogami cable. Not bad for the price. I have no connection with MF, other than I have spent a considerable amount of $$$ with them.
