My 101.7's New Morning Host Is...

Jon Marochino, who is also the afternoon host on 98.1 WKDD. Amy Malone remains as co-host. She is also the midday host as well.

Is it just me, or is that CC Akron/Canton is not willing to bring in anyone new to host mornings on any of the AC stations. Maybe they don't have the money to spend, or they got nothing but bad submissions for the gigs.
 
It's probably a combo of wanting familiar names in the AM, and then merely voice tracking later shifts to save $$.
 
It's nice to see Jon get the gig, but geez. He's been bounced between 101.7, WKDD and 1350 too many times over the past few years. I'm surprised he hasn't goofed up the station names yet.
