My 106.1

I was listening to MY 106.1 this morning and noticed the IBOC signal was off, but when tuning to adjacents 106.3 and 105.9 I noticed there was "dead air". What does this mean? I noticed the same thing when Now 97.5 had their IBOC off.

That's easy. Without the IBOC, there's no hash to open the FM radio's quieting, hence the "dead air".
