It's a terribly bad show with a premise that has zero useful life outside of the realm of facebook or an occasional comic-con gathering. It's just bad tv.

The executives at CBS must have said S#!T when the ratings came in.

Anyone want to guess how long Shatner's show lasts before it is cancelled?
 
I still don't get the lure of watching something that they admit is crap or $&#( or whatever is "less than exemplary." But that's probably me.... :)
 
Another example of old media not understanding new media. The original Twitter feed was funny because it came in short little bursts of "wisdom," not a 30 minute sitcom.
 
How did 'Outsourced' do in week 2? I thought the first episode was kind of funny, but the second episode was terrible. I most likely won't be watching again.
 
They dropped like most other new shows did. "Outsorced" is kind of like "The Office" was when it first started. Something is there, it's very different, if they can develop it I think people will start watching. I'd give it an 80 right now, which is better than I expected it would be.

I'm just happy to see "Parks And Recreation" gone. Why did it take NBC so long to figure out that show was a big dud?

Or substituting the word "bleep" in lieu of the word in vocal promos for the show...
 
I have to say as average as this show is in writing, William Shatner is doing a really good job with the comedy. I didn't think he could handle it, much less do it as well as he has

I'll have to disagree with that. The first episodes of Parks and Recreation (maybe even the first half-season) was weak - but it really came through after that, and particularly in its second season, and (IMO) was consistently smart and funny. TV critics generally like the show, and the local critic where I live (San Francisco Chronicle) made a point of bashing NBC for not putting it on the fall schedule.
 
Parks and Rec has received terrible numbers, so no surprise about a cancellation. Although NBC being in 4th place would let losers float, it's still lame. The entire network has seemed to forget how to do a sitcom since Seinfeld.
