%$#% MY DAD SAYS DOWN 2,100,000 VIEWERS (IN 2ND WEEK)

Getting back to Outsourced, the plots just seem to be getting weaker with each passing week.

Now, I'm also wondering about The Office when Steve Carell leaves. It seems only one out of three of their episodes are even worth watching any more. Maybe he is leaving at the right time.

NBC needs some help.......Nobody Brought Coffee.......is that why NBC is asleep at the wheel right now?

Since the thread has became about NBC, here's my take:

Community will be destroyed by The Big Bang Theory.
30 Rock is sound. In fact the Kabletown story lines are hilarious considering what's really going on at the real 30 Rock.

The Office jumped the shark this season. They're preparing for life without Carrell, but they're relying to heavy on the song and
dance bit. Ed Helms is a real talent though.

Agree totally with the previous post about Outsourced.

As far as Parks and Rec goes I believe it hit its stride at the end of last season, and of course due to that, NBC puts it on hiatus.

DAD CONTINUES TO DROP

%#$ My Dad Says
week one 12.5 million viewers
week two 10.4 million
week three 9.8 million

Should have gotten Stacey Keatch to play the dad. He was an awesome Papa Titus in "Titus".

I don't disagree, but Stacy Keach has been busy lately, narrating the American Greed series of documentaries for CNBC.

His character in Titus is the type of dad that the Shat is trying to play. It's just not coming across very well, hence the drop in ratings.

I think the cast is fine. I think Shatner is doing a great job. In fact I like the whole cast, but the writing is weak. It's supposed to be based on an edgy blog and you can't do this on TV and you especially can't do it at 7:30pm (8:30pm ET)

So you're left with a sitcom that is supposed to be edgy but can't pull it off and has to cut back the writing. It's a mess, but the cast is doing decent job.

I think William Shatner is perfect for this role.

His "eulogy" seemed pretty edgy to me. It was hilarious watching those poor people squirm.

I don't like the rest of the cast, though.

I think pairing Stacey Keach with Christopher Titus for this show would have gotten tremendous ratings. I always thought the dynamic between the two of them on Titus was perfect.

FOUND THIS.............most were right on the mark concerning $#*! MY DAD SAYS.

I think Outsourced would have done better if NBC hadn't moved it to 10:30PM......that's
about when I quit watching and when the ratings tanked.

Still don't watch 30 Rock. Not a big fan of shows where every line is a punchline followed by
a laugh track.
