My I 957?

I turned on the radio this morning and was flipping by Kiss 95.7, when I heard The Offspring. Curious about that, I listed somemore, and a DJ named "skillet" called the station "MY I 9-5-7" and said he was playing whatever he wanted. He then said another DJ was coming in after to play whatever he wanted, and he didn't know who it was going to be. Then skillet played AC/DC's "All Night Long". This was around 10am.

But instead of another DJ afterwards playing whatever he wantd, it just went voice-tracked and called itself Kiss 95.7 again.

My 9-5-7 ,was back in the 90's ( and so was my T- I -C ) . Now ,its My Hot 93.7 .

My 957 is for feature the listeners to create the playlists they want.

KISS is soooo lame!
They ONCE AGAIN have stolen from sister station KC 101
"What's on MY-Pod" is something they have done for years..I know cause once they used my songs.
If not for KC 101 kiss would be sooooo lame.
Thank God for them they have somebody in the Family to STEAL from
I don't get why management would let this go on.

Lots of stations are doing the same thing. I don't think KC was the first. In fact, 95.7's PD used a similar thing at his last gig in Indiana. It would be great if there were new ideas, but this one is just a popular one at the moment.

KC 101 was doing it way before the PD came to town...
I always wonder how do pd's who are just lame copy cats sleep at night...Are they lazy, or just lame and stuck in the 1980's?

ouch no comment from main street. maybe you are right caliv. he should spend more time ripping off better pd's and less time on a radio chat site asking for help as he has done in the past. isn't that what consultants are for?

I don't have anything against pd's on the boards. This is a place for all who love radio but, don't try to make other stations or their ideas look like they are below that of wkss.
Truth is the station is in SERIOUS trouble.

Here's a question for those of you with a life-time of radio experience. Is there a traditional limit set by radio execs on how long they will allow a station to have lower ratings then the previous ratings before changing PDs?

In Stan's defense, i95.7 was used by the previous administration as early as 2005... JoJo did it in PM drive. 'KSS was one of the first in the country to do it...back then.
