Hi, I'm Chris Mitchell, aka "Mitch". I worked for Nassau Broadcasting as a jock, production director and PD. I want to send a clear message, and try to save some friendships.
Here are the clear facts: As a former employee of Nassau I can honestly say that I was always treated with respect, given the proper tools to succeed and compensated well. I had the flexibility to be creative - both on and off the air - and don't regret a second of any of the time I spent at 477 Congress - or any of the other addresses.
Somehow, I've been accused of "bashing" Nassau's programming, and that just don't be right. I've never posted yay or nay. Guess that's just a residual of surfing the boards. But I'll be damned if I'll take the accusation lying down.
I've worked for Saga, Entercom, Nassau and a fistful of "mom and pop" things. I've never said anything negative OR positive about any of 'em. What's the use? There's good and bad to each.
There. Facts straight.
Chris
