My Network TV 2009 2010 Season

Since MYTV is becomming an "programming service", what will happen to the stations that currently airing the syndicated version of Deal or No Deal? For example in Columbus Ohio WSYX airs the syndicated version of Deal, while MYTV airs on WSYX subchannel.

One (My Network TV) has nothing to do with the other (the syndicated Deal or No Deal). That is unless Deal is moving to another Columbus station or WSYX is replacing ABC with a primary MNTV affiliation (HIGHLY unlikely).

Is the question about the one night a week My Network will run back-to-back episodes of the syndicated Deal and 5th Grader? It has no impact on the syndicated sales (however unique the situations may be if the shows air on different channels). It just so happens one nigt a week a couple of shows will air on a different (potentially at least) channel...kind of a throwback to the days of old with the nighttime Price is Right, Match Game PM, etc. (Albeit a cheaper throwback.)

Re: MDS?

Is My Network TV changing it's name as well as it's format? I ask 'cause I found all the network's future programs listed on snta.com. And all are said to have Twentieth Television as the distributor (except Criminal Intent). Anyway, there are two separate pages for Are you smarter than a fifth grader?: One for MNTV (listed as "Tuesday night on MDS") and the other (well, obviously) for syndication. MDS? That doesn't stand for My Network TV!

Nothing has been published about a name change. Perhaps it's just some other shorthand abbreviation.

MDS = minimally desired scheduling.
