My Network TV beats CW for 1 week

MY should beat CW more often once they pick up WWE Smackdown! next month. As for NBC, was anything else new for them this week besides Monday's Deal Or No Deal?

The string of Jaws movies airing during the week certainly helped My.

We're still technically in the summer rerun season, so the green network has some measure of an excuse. With that said, The CW's new fall season starts next week.

Despite their numbers for WWE Smackdown! on MY, they're still quite low compared to the CW days. Perhaps it's MY being carried on subchannels in some markets and in the wee hours in others. I know that MY only has three full-power analog affiliates in the six New England states:

WCTX-TV channel 59 New Haven (Hartford/New Haven), channel 50 Derry, NH (Boston/Worcester) and channel 35 Lewiston, ME (Portland/Poland Spring). It airs in Providence/New Bedford via a secondary affiliation on WNAC-TV (FOX) channel 64.

Additionally.. the combined rating for My and CW is a 2.0/3
That's what UPN or WB used to get all on their own.
I'm just pointing out that the battle between these two micro-networks is much more competitive than it used to be. When My started out it was thrown together in a hurry and didn't do well. They've changed strategies and it seems to be working. Additionally, they're running a lot of very cheap unscripted programming and old movies that makes them far more likely to turn a profit before the CW ever does.
