My Network TV to lose Iowa station

It's KWKB which serves eastern Iowa. According to the new kwkb.tv, "Scrubs" will be on at 9pm followed by "Access Hollywood" at 10pm. This station is also affiliated with The CW, so it will be solely a CW station (unless it plans to pre-empt two hours of Antenna TV on channel 20-2 to make room for My Network TV there...)

Given that MyNetwork TV really isn't a "Network", this really isn't much of a surprise.....

Cheers :D

Losing MNTV is really like losing former Superstation WWOR's EMI service on cable.
In other words, nothing of value will be lost.

If this were to happen to the sub-channel for Antenna TV programming, it would be like WFGX-TV in the Mobile-Pensacola TV market with programming from MyNetworkTV in the evening, ThisTV during the daytime, Jewelry Television programming late at night, and syndicated programming in between ThisTV programming. I wish WFGX-TV would have another sub-channel for ThisTV programs that don't appear on the main channel without affecting its programming schedule.

When the main channel has a ThisTV program, the sub-channel may have something else like camera views of local places, community bulletins, or "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" for educational and informative programming purposes (WFGX-TV broadcasts that program on Sundays instead of an episode of "Sonic Underground" from ThisTV). Getting access to all ThisTV programming from WLOX-TV (Biloxi, Mississippi) would be even better if cable TV systems in Mobile were to retransmit sub-channel programming from that station, since it is fairly close to Mobile and some folks in Mobile were able to receive its analog programming easily before the analog signal ceased to exist.

I'll take the defunct WWOR EMI/AEC Service over MyNetworkTV any day.

It also has like local News and so on that the local stations puts on it because KSMOTV has News on at 7am to 8am 9pm to 9:30pm but that ones going to an hor next month and some how a 1pm one.
