Since their current presentation is a train wreck, I see this station making a change real soon to one of the following:
1. WMSP FM (Sports Talk)
2. WABT (West Alabama's Big Talker)
Dan <><
P.S. Number 2 would stand the best chance of making it. We've never had a FM talk station in this area before. Let the Black community have all of WHBB. They would be stoked, excited and happy, if they had another radio station that was 100% for them and their needs anyway. Put Rush on a more competitive signal and see how far you can go with that Mr. Mike. I see a goldmine happening for you sir, if you went that idea and ran with it.
B.T.W. If they tried Country (Again), Top 40, AC, Classic Hits or even CCM, those ideas would be failures for them. Too much competition from the surrounding areas and Selma itself for the first four formats. The last one is going to be aired over the new LPFM, once I sign on with it. I'm taking a risk with this new start up anyway. Trying something that has never been done before here in Selma. Ready to take a risk and see how far I can go.
Personal Note: I see Fuzion 100.1 FM on life support now, Mr. Gower and Paul. What say you?
