My next vacation

I decided to start a thread of my own on this board. Why not? I'm debating whether to go to Louisville, KY or Disney World for my next vacation. I really want to see Kentucky and hear all those great stations that are not streaming - WLRS 105.1 (especially), WXMA 102.3 The Max, and 99-7 DJX just to name a few. WCDA CD 106.3, WGKS 96.9 Kiss FM, WLTO Hot 102.5, and WBTF 107.9 The Beat in Lexington too - how far is Lexington from Louisville? I hate stations that are not streaming that everyone talks about because then I feel like I'm missing out.

In Kentucky, I would like to go horse back riding and be served by middle aged guys in restaurants/bars in goatees. No more young guns doing that job - is that possible there? Is there any site I can request info to be sent about Kentucky?

In Disney World I've been there before but the only thing that's really appealing to me is that revolving dance floor nightclub on Pleasure Island. I think rather though, I'd want that damn WLRS station to stream online. I've had to email several people there to get an answer of the streaming and they told me it may happen. But I want to listen now, not years from now. It's not fair I tell ya.

I have no good rock stations in my area which is Milwaukee. They all turned yucky. In fact, there is so much bad programming in my area I have to wonder if the PDs are on crack or what. I'm sure they are on something, otherwise it would be better radio.

You guys have it lucky to be in one of the Top 10 radio cities according to that link given on another thread here. What stinks is that like, no promotional trip contests give away trips to Kentucky - just cities like stupid Vegas or warm places. I want to see Kentucky!

Is that WLRS ever going to stream? I want to hear it so bad. Does anyone have an aircheck? Hot Patrick talks about it all the time so maybe he has airchecks. I have an aircheck site if anyone wants to see and trade. Everyone should email those stations and request streaming, especially WLRS! Come on WLRS, get streaming!

Dude, if you are going to base your vacation on radio stations that are streaming, get a life man. Sky.fm has better streams.

Wait 'till spring or summer (weather is black ice and rain, sleet and snow mixed in the coming 2.5 months)... We can get you "Kentucky Kingdom/Six Flags" tickets and run you one hour into the country to see the real thing at Holiday World in southern Indiana... Fun.... Two of the top 10 wooden roller coasters in the WORLD.... Golf at Fuzzy Zeller's place and Churchill Downs is actually clean and remodeled, after years of falling apart.... You're close to Lincoln's birthplace and also his childhood homestead.. :D How about seeing where the Col. Sanders made his 'secret' a success just south of the metro??? :p And minor league ball at its best with the Slugger Field and 'The Bats'..... :)
