My Office Makes the Switch to Jack

My office had Lite FM on for years, but now the boss switched the station to 101.1 Jack FM. Its a nice change. I listen to Jack a lot in my car, but I'm in the office at least 7 hours a day and I'm stuck listening to Lite FM. But, everyone is really enjoying Jack FM. Unfortunatley, I won't be listening long since I'm moving away in a couple months.

Jack FM rules!

Given the siginificant amount of rock tunes in Jack's playlist, I'm sure your office is a little more upbeat these days.<P ID="signature">______________

I'm assuming that you're of course referring to 101.1 Jack FM, since you mentioned Lite FM. But be aware that there are many markets with Lite FM, and many that have Jack.

Garrett, I think it is a safe bet that he is talking about 101.1 since this is the NYC board, right?

Even safer than you think -- the original post says "... my boss switched to 101.1 Jack FM"

Not sure it gets any more obvious than that.

Glad to see that it wasn't just me!

The office is a little more upbeat these days. We are all enjoying the change. Lite FM is the main station on in our office most of the time, but there are periods when my boss switches to a different station, just to make our "radio listening experienence at work" more interesting. Lite FM will likely go back on in the office, but I have a feeling Jack FM will stay on for a while.

New Orleans! Everyone has had such a rough time, the last thing on anyone's mind is flipping formats right now. I would think stations are playing it safe: I see the alternative station never came back after Katrina...they're country now.

Switch to Jack

It could very well be that once the stink of "they blew up CBS-FM and Oldies" wears off, Jack could have a chance (botched format flip cluster you-know-what from Viacom notwithstanding).
