MY OPINION ON THE WJJZ/WMGK/THE HAWK THING!!!

I personally think that Greater Media made a good move and a bad move. Since my Rose has been all XMAS for a while now I have been testing the stations.

I think WMGK needs to go, they suck as a Classic Rock station, they just play the same artists over and over again. There seems to be no substance to them at all.

WJJZ was a good move, they sound like a good Jazz station with R&B mixed it. They are playing "I Call It Love" that I totally adore since my Rose plays it all the time. Other songs just seem to have a edge to them that I didn't expect from a jazz station.

The Hawk should have stayed around, great station with a wonderful mix of classic rock that was hard to find everywhere.

My opinion: Add WJJZ and put it at 102.9 FM and kept The Hawk at 97.5 FM. That way the jazz people are happy and the classic rock fans are happy.

So they are 50/50, not bad, but not great!!!

To avoid Mr. Brusstar from calling you a dirty word on his show for not agreeing with and memorizing everything he writes and kissing his a$%, Greater Media could not keep The Hawk, Nassau owns The Hawk, and uses that imaging on some of their other stations.

That settles it. There is no need to turn this into a nine page thread.
