You were only around college football history!! I had the chance to interview Mr. Bobby Bowden when his son was hired at a school that was in my market. I had the chance to interview Coach Saban a few times. Radio, heck ALL MEDIA in college markets are FUN and are not to be overlooked 🤣

Bobby Bowden and Nick Saban…only two of many great sports personalities hailing from my home state of West Virginia.

Gotta tell ya, at 6:09 a.m. without coffee, when I saw the headline my first thought was "Oh, God, how did I piss off James?"

Very kind words and thank you so much.

That said---I can't devote the time required to do it properly. After retiring from broadcasting, I still have my automotive writing (gratuitous plug: New Car reviews | Mike Hagerty Cars ), travel (we leave for six weeks in Italy the day after tomorrow), and long-delayed quality time with family and friends.

My wife has spent a decade seeing me hunched over a keyboard. She needs to see less of that.

But, seriously, thank you.

Are you still doing your Automotive TV show here in Arizona, No one mentioned that, #1 in the State!

About 20 years ago I caught SuperGold's Mike Harvey doing an automotive TV show. His show did nothing for me much like SuperGold, had a giant White beard, looked like Santa

Are you still doing your Automotive TV show here in Arizona,

That show wrapped up 16 years ago, after seven seasons on the air. I moved to ABC15, which wanted me to do other things, so I moved my automotive reviews online, to my own site as well as for other publications.

Talk about frustration, how about the upcoming "Sacramento" A's !

They're doing better than the Gigantes, but not by much. Even the Mets as a .500 team are doing better than either of the Bay Area teams. (Thank the Lord for the Colorado Rockies and the Miami Marlins, who make them all seem respectable.)
