Ok, I understand that 102.5 "The Bone" exists for a higher cause, Cox will keep a classic type format on that frequency no matter what, as a sort of partner to 107.3, to fend off any attempts to launch classic rock, by forming a ''wall of rock'', am I correct ?
So, I will NOT waste my time proposing something so different that the current partnership wouldn't work anymore.
What I would propose, I have mentioned before. Who here knows of WHQG/Milwaukee ? Great format, great story for the former "lazer" active rock format, owned by Saga. The station was flipped from active rock to an ''everything that rocks'' format last Auguest, since then they have had nothing short of a monster re-birth in the ratings book, along the way taking down Clear Channel's new ''Brew'' 80's rock/pop format that HAD been on it's way to the top.
so, if you're still interested, here are a few links to further tell the story

In closing, obviously I like WHQG.......ESPECIALLY when compared to the current 102.5/Tampa, which I do not listen to anymore. and one last thing, if it's not to be for the future 102.5........what about 98 rock ? Could it be an option over there ? Personally, I would like to see it happen. I would return as a listener. Comments please.
