If Cumulus do acquire the Susquehanna stations, I think they will flip The Bone to "Rock 93.3" like "Rock 103.7" in Houston and put Walton & Johnson on for mornings. Agree or disagree?

Just anything beside the crap they have on there now

Agreed, the Bone Sucks. But if Cumulus does buy them out, The Fox out of Appleton looks like a much better play then 103.7.

Whitesnake, Foo Fighters, U2, Staind, Alice in Chains???? I do not miss David Coverdale myself.

Let's try something new, like a real target. If Cumulus is true to their mission statement on the website, why not go for the SMALL active rock, or true alternative rock MARKET that lives within the DFW area instead of slicing up the big classic rock crap everybody else is doing?

Alas Jamz, you may be on to something, I am sure from Atlanta Houston and Dallas look alot alike, there is very little risk or extra production costs in piping in 103.7

I'd have to agree also with all of the topics. Living in a market with one rock station and two classic rockers is so painful, especially if the rock station and one of the classic rock station is owned by Clear Channel and the other classic rocker is controlled by an idiot.
______________

Will champagne be flowing if Cumeless removes Scott Strong and Jeff K? Surely there has to be at least one person in that organization who will remove them this time.

I don't know... they're like insecticide-resistant cockroaches... they'll be programming bad radio thousands of years after we are all dead and gone...
______________

Seems as if the teflon factor has been in play there for quite some time. But even teflon, exposed to enough heat, eventually breaks down. So, to wait and see if the new brass applies enough, or any, heat.

..or crushed on the bottom of my perverbial boot, whichever comes first.

What about KLIF? Do you think Cumulus would keep the lineup of Ankarlo / Knapp through their contracts to the end of 2006? How about syndicates Beck, O'Reilly and Dr. Laura? Off the station altogether? Waddyathink?
