My Recent Visit to Walla Walla

I noticed that KUJ-FM Power 99.1 has segued from Rhythmic to Top 40. I am so glad that they changed back. Tri Cities needed a top 40 station after OK95radio tanked. Did the rhythmic thing not work out for Power99.1? The station sounds great and I noticed has moved its licensed city to Burbank. Anyone know if they brought back Rick Dees and Ryan Seacrest on the weekends?

hi Radio doogie...

When you say "OK95 tanked", do you mean the sorry attempt at the over-the-air broadcast, the website, or the original OK95, which was sold and changed to country back in '96?

Walla Walla has always been effectively a part of the the Tri-Cities market. Except, some of us of a certain age remember the AM KUJ! What a unique, but powerful radio station that did its best to try to sound bigger than WW? Fun stuff!

yea they have Kraddick in the morning too...wonder when someone will get the idea to do that in seattle. is KUJ running jockless in nights?
