MY SHOWS IS GONE ON 93.3 AND WNCI :(

There was no oldies tonite on 9.33. Noo Roo, do you know what happened since you know a lot about 93.3? I know you like the people not the music so I understand you now. The music was the normal stuff they do all day but I had been hearing the 60's and some 70's on Fridays and it was pretty good. When that show is over I listen to my cousin Maxwell and he is gone on WNCI. No just kidding he's not related plus i don't think that is his real name. I know there were layoffs but they weren't supposed to be DJ's this time so I thought.

Maxwell was cut in last week's layoffs. Also Chuck Gillespie from 93.3.

93.3 is now airing Clear Channel's Premium Choice soft rock format...not sure what that means in terms of air personalities. I have noticed some stations airing the songs from the format while using local personalities during AM/PM drive. On overnights, I've heard the generic air personality on that appears on the Soft Rock channel's IHeartRadio stream... Many medium and smaller market stations are airing at least the music from this "Premium Choice" feed 24/7. Some larger market stations (WASH-FM in DC/Sunny 99.1 in Houston) are airing it only on overnights. Same thing is happening at stations in other formats as well. Clear Channel is putting the final nails in the coffin of local radio...

Maybe, but that explains why they are actually playing some good music...sometimes a lot, sometimes not so much. In any event they are no longer "out-softing" soft (faux mainstream) AC WSNY. CC/Columbus has been pitifully wasting big-signal 93.3 for so long that it is, sad to say, refreshing to have the music originating from elsewhere.
