My trip to Houston

Well my yearly doctors visits was 2 days ago, was downtown Houston, is KLTN in HD now? I couldnt pull in the HD signal out in Lavaca county, my stupid walkman just doesnt filter out very good, the strong signals will kill the rest. I must of been very close to a HD tower because all I could hear was the digital FM sideband noises. I'm not sure what kind of radio to use to prevent that, I want to get a new walkman, but I dont want one that will overdrive other stations. Anyway Enjoyed the trip down, listened to KBXX & KTBZ mostly, and KKRW. I really enjoyed 107.5, they really made some changes. Most of the time I can pick up KXTN in San antonio out in Lavaca county over KHTC. I'm still trying to get use to that, I liked the KLDE calls better, easier to remember :).

jras, I realize this is a non answer for the most part. KLTN is listed by Ibiquity as being in HD. I don't own a HD Radio, I'm waiting for The Shack to put their radio on sale for $49 with a $50 rebate, so I don't have first hand knowledge.

I get a 95.3dbu signal from the the Senior Road stations and can hear the sidebands on a few stations, although it does not stop me from picking up 1st or 2nd adjacnt stations. There is a mild enhancement of signals at this time (10:40pm Friday) and have a station next to 101.1 on 101.3. KLTN places a 92.0dbu signal where I live and hear no sidebands, but that really doesn't mean that they aren't in HD.

The Univision web site makes no mention of HD for any of their stations, although KPTY is in HD. May be Mr. Eduardo can shed some light on this or StevenNOLA who has an HD Radio.

Best I can tell you is that KLTN should be in HD.

Steven or anyone that has a HD Radio is KACC in HD? I thought I read that KACC was broadcasting HD, but no mention on their website nor are they listed by Ibiquity. In fact a quick list of area HD stations would be appreciated. The Ibiquity list is not current. Thanks!

KLTN is in HD, KACC is not last time I went south of town. I live too far away to receive it at home and it is too weak downtown for the HD to be receivable.

KACC still isn't in HD to my knowledge. I flipped by on my way to Galveston the other day and I never picked up an HD signal or carrier indication from them.

When can we expect the Senior Road tower to be worked on their yearly change out now? I almost thought all the stations was on the aux. site the other day, they seemed to have been very weak, it could of been the weather changing also though. Is the time slot back in the mid summer tme now?
