With the uncertain future of "i" and UPN/WB going offf the air do you think stations like WSBK and WPXQ and others picking up FOX's my network in New ENGLAND.

The logo's could be "MY38, MY26, MY69 etc.....

Although it is targeted for Fox owned indies being alienated by UPN and WB I cbelieve it will be availabe to other abandend affiliates.

I highly doubt that 'SBK would join the new network. It's a CBS Corp. O&O and there is a lot of animosity between CBS and FOX/News Corp. since the CW debacle.

Hmmm...One has to wonder if WZMY-50/Derry, New Hampshire will have to go to court over the "My TV" name.

WSBK...don't affiliate with any network in the year 2006...new shows never survive! Go back to classic reruns!

Plus, The CW (CBS part stakeholder) and My Network TV will be direct competitors as far as flegling networks. The 2 will be competing for winning station affiliations, national exposure and viability. In that case, no need for CBS to help out Fox. So if WSBK remains indy, then WZMY can pick up the My Network TV programming.

CBS also has a indy, with no affiliation, in Dallas as well. KDFI will pick up My Network TV.

I think the Tribune stations in Philly, Atlanta and Seattle, however, will be more inclined to pick up My Network TV programming affiliations.

On weekends, CW56 will run "American Idol Rewind". WSBK will have infomercials.

Yeah I mentioned that on the National TV board. They had it first.

Another "had it first" case: NBC launched a logo with red and blue
trapezoids forming an "N". Nebraska Public TV already had it and
the Peacock had to fork over some money...

"The red and blue N ... is likely a familiar site. In 1976, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) paid a graphic artist $750,000 to design this logo! As the story goes, about three decades earlier, Nebraska Educational TV had the same logo designed for them, but they only paid $35 for it."

"In February 1976, NBC was sued by the Nebraska ETV Network for trademark infringement since the new NBC logo was virtually identical to the ETV logo. An out-of-court settlement was reached in which NBC gave ETV new equipment and a mobile color unit (valued at over $800,000) in exchange for allowing NBC to retain their logo. In addition, NBC paid $55,000 to ETV to cover the cost of designing and implementing a new logo"
