MyFM 101.3 cuts off American Top 40 early

So I listen to the American Top 40 with Casey Kasem on Saturday mornings on MyFM 101.3. Easy 99.1 has it at the same time but I have trouble getting it in my apartment. But anyways, the problem is that MyFM usually cuts it off early and doesn't usually air the top 1 or 2 songs. Instead, they go into this local sports show they have. This just is not right. I thought MyFM was a good station, but they're not technology-wise. They still haven't fixed the problem where they only broadcast one audio channel. And the thing is, it seems like they insert commercials where there shouldn't be any, like after they play the optional extra songs. I've been told that not all stations that carry AT40 play optional extras. Maybe this one shouldn't.

I have always wondered why they (show owners) don't webcast the show. Just from the number of postings about this show on this site it would have a loyal following.

Because of the way the clocks work on that show, the last hour has four main segments instead of three (and five total instead of four if you count the optionals). Additionally, the way Hour 4 times out, a ReSync or equivalent can drop the last segment if it is scheduled to start too closely to the top of the hour.

The current American Top Forty that Premiere (Division of iHeart) runs is with Ryan Seacrest not Casey Kasem. Show Clocks: PN | Engineering From this clocks page you can see they have two versions of the old shows called American Casey Kasem's American Top 40 The 70s and American Top 40 The 80s that they also offer. Casey Kasem stopped doing AT40 for ABC in 88 and died in 2014.

This is all useful information, but there's still the issue of MyFM not committing to what they're supposed to do. That is, airing quality program. It sounds to me like they care more about the sports show than about AT40. They also air 80s episodes of AT40 on Sunday morning (the episodes they have on Saturday are from the 70s) and after it is a show in Portuguese. They do not end AT40 early for that one. I'm not sure if the Portuguese show is locally produced or not. Is MyFM still considered full-service?

Back when I worked "full service" KIUL we had CBS news, a local newcaster, sports guy. When WHAS was full service, (early 1990's) they were really Chicken Rock with excellent news.

IMHO to be considered one of the old "full service" type of station, you need a good news department. Usually the news gathering heavy lifting is done by a newspaper or television station in the same building with common ownership.

Do they have a schedule?
I don’t think so but they alternate back and forth between a show from the 70s and a show from the 80s. On holidays (such as Memorial Day weekend) they sometimes play the year end countdowns from each year.
