MyNetworkTV Fall Lineup

Ion is doing this now...to much failure.

The only grace is that affiliates will not have to pay cash for the programming (along with a healthy local ad split), which may minimize defections. Although expect MyNet affiliates to carry more local sports and other local fare whenever possible.

MyNetwork will be a goner soon (next couple of years).

Nope. MyNetwork will be around as long as Fox owns those stations and needs programming to fill the prime-time hours. It isn't going anywhere.

As long as Fox has the means to acquire the programming, as long as they offer the shows on barter, My Network TV should be around for quite awhile yet.

The difference between ION and MNTV is that most MNTV affiliates are owned by other companies, big and small; and the company that owns the O&O's own one of TV's biggest guns -- Fox. ION owns over 100 stations themselves, with some independently-owned affiliates; the massive ownership of stations is what's killing ION, more than NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox combined.

Question about the new My Network TV Fall Lineup

Now that My Network TV will become a programming service, I have a question: Will the new format operate like it is now? Or will all the programs be strewn all over the place?

According to the article, it looks like it's "as is."

MY is not like previous syndication packages (Action Pack and Prime Time Entertainment Network).

Re: Question about the new My Network TV Fall Lineup

No more "Under One Roof". Although that's probably for the best. ;D YEAHHHHHHH BOYYYYYYYYY

No more Arsenio either? That was a good show. Maybe NBC will keep doing their "Most Outrageous" show. I know people say you can get this stuff off the Internet but I don't have a fast enough connection for video, or want one. I waste enough time as it is, and most of Arsenio's stuff isn't really THAT good.

No more magic secrets? I only watch magic when I know how it's done. I want someone who worked for David Copperfield to turn traitor. I did get to see how two of his illusions were done because Valentino did them.
