Myrtle Beach - POWER 100.3/WSEA

Yeah, now I see they are stunting with smooth jazz and R&B now. Wow, whats going on? They have only been on the air a year with the Power format.
Hasn't there ratings been going up since the flip from Hot 100 CHR to Power 100.3 Rythmic/CHR. This is interesting to see them stunt. Thought on July 4th they would be in mix mode playing all the hip hop. Plus they just got Kosmo who does midday, don't tell me cause they picked him up that means 100.3 will go back to CHR. It wasn't working before against Mix 97.7 who says it will now.
While listening to the stunt they been staying "The Storm" a lot. Maybe Urban AC is moving to 100.3 just a guess as that name would go well. Current format being played on the stunt right now is classic country. Other formats during the stunt has been Urban AC, Smooth Jazz, Classic Hits, CHR, Country.

Urban AC failed in Myrtle Beach on Q107.1. KISS 98.5 does a great job at it.

Correct but Cumulus owns both 98.5 and 100.3, so they might be thinking about moving their Urban AC to 100.3 as The Storm.
No more Rickey Smiley in the mornings. Maybe 98.5 KISS FM will shift back to Urban, but Michael Baisden's show is strictly old school. Did Cumulus ever combo 98.5 KISS FM and POWER 100.3 as a combo sell?

Hmm, so maybe 98.5 is shifting back to Urban Contemporary afterall??? Now what about Micahel Baisden in the afternoons???
So 100.3 is now i 100 a CHR. Wasn't CHR done before on 100.3 called Hot 100. What was wrong with Power 100.3 to change the format?
....POWER ratings were better than the former CHR format.
What were the demo ratings in 18-35 ?
..not sure, but POWER 100.3 went from a 2.9 to 4.0 with the Hip-Hop format 12+. Cumulus never put any effort into POWER 100.3 from the start. Jocks in and out the door and way too much voicetracking and recorded mixshows. Rickey Smiley must've pulled huge morning show numbers since they're switching his show to sister station 98.5 KISS FM which means Tom Joyner is out.Ken said:What were the demo ratings in 18-35 ?
