Myrtle Beach, SC about to lose a CHR? - WSEA 100.3

ESPN Radio will be moving to WSEA 100.3 FM in Myrtle Beach on Monday, March 5, replacing the CHR format "i100."

It's unclear what will happen to WJXY 93.9, where ESPN currently is. The CHR format could move there, but I doubt it. This would leave Mix 97.7 as the market's only CHR (which was much better than i100)

Sure enough, Cumulus moved CHR to 93.9 as Z93.9. Seems like they're getting away from the "i" brand.

Interesting, as the station is carrying Elvis Duran (first for Cumulus?) and the station is airing Billy Bush, which was dropped from the majority of Cumulus's CHR's a couple of weeks ago.

According to a poster on the SC board, this is more of a Hot AC station and plays 90s to present music. It's satellite fed.
