Could and would someone please tell me for whom or what those six (6) bays on the west side of 'QAM's old tower next to the Herald building are or were.
If it's the one I saw it's on the old WQAM tower in the water behind the Miami Herald building. I don't know that we ever got a definate answer to that one. I thought it might have been the old 94.9 WQAM-FM from before Storz owned WQAM. Apparently Storz wasn't interested in the FM but I'm not sure.
Radio history details tend to get lost as time goes on. It's a shame.
That antenna only popped up there a few short years ago, long after everyone was already near County Line Rd.
Maybe a temporary for 92.3 or 95.7 before they climbed onto One Biscayne Tower?
Far too expensive for that LPFM that Dade County had on 102.1 a few years back.
