Mystery FM station received in Tyler

Heard a weak signal on 94.3 this evening and for a moment I thought it might be the new Waller station, KZXM. Apparently it wasn't, and although my Spanish isn't that great it seemed to be religious music with a good percentage of talk between the songs. The signal was best along the South Loop, with no fading, but south of town it pretty much vanished. I didn't hear an ID nor could I discern any sort of slogan for the station, and although there was some moderate tropo at the time (a few things from the north and some Shreveport stations coming in, for instance) nothing seems to fit.

At one time there were reports of a pirate Spanish language Christian station around the South Loop. Maybe they are back? Last night the tropo got pretty weird as the temperature rose about 10 degrees around five o'clock. It could have been anything. Is it still there?

Interesting that they break the law (which is a sin) so that they can put God on the air?? Hypocracy! I can't wait for the Wallers to sign on the air and blow it out of the water.

Nothing new here in San Antonio. A translator *without a main station* on 93.7 has been doing this for a long time.

94.3 is operating out of a Mexican Church in North Tyler. You can actually see the antenna and tower on google maps streetview. I guess they dont care about the law. The church appears to be a former EZ-Mart. From junk food to saving souls and breaking the law !
