Well, this time there are now four songs stuck in my head I don't know the title and artist of.
First: There's one song I heard on my local Urban station V103 circa 1997. Some girl was borrowing the chorus line to Earth, Wind, and Fire's "Love Devotion" and later on she would say something like "this is all mo thug, this is all mo thug, much love."
Second: A song I heard on my local Modern Rocm station 99X sounded like either 311, Ozomatli, or one of those types of rap-rock combinations. This song I heard around 1995-1996, and I tried to get the Atlanta board to help, but they all hate me for some reason. Anyway the lyrics said something about "let's get down tonight, alright, it's a mellow feeling" and then there would be an unintelligible sonovox hook that I though said "I dig you, let's go"
Third: This mid-tempo song that I heard in the early 90's on Star 94 in my hometown was sung by a guy with a really high-pitched voice and had a chorus that sounded something like
One love, so right
You can have it any way you want it
One love so right
Don't you know that I live my life for you
And then there was a verse with "take these words, understand"
Fourth: Kiss 104.1 would play this song sometimes on their "Blue Lights In The Basement" special, and the chorus sounded something like
Living it up living it up at last, Friday Night (repeat)
If anybody can identify the title and artist of any of these four songs that I tried to describe, I will be forever grateful. These songs have been bugging me since the 1990's. Thanks in advance!
