Mystery Sports station on 1090 AM?

Driving in East Texas tonight a little west of Tyler I caught a few minutes of Fox Sports Radio but didn't get any kind of ID; when the network paused for the local station break at the bottom of the hour there was silence. Nothing really comes to mind and a search for affiliates revealed just a couple of stations, both daytimers (one in Wisconsin, the other in Georgia). Any ideas?

You sure it was Fox? 1090 XEPRS in Rosarito, Baja Calif runs sports with 50kW 24/7, but I think it's ESPN (used to be Sporting News Radio) and they have a null in that direction.

Yes, it was Fox Sports, and from what I can tell from their schedule XEPRS probably was airing local programming at the time. Their pattern definitely doesn't favor my location; I think I heard them once or twice years ago on a home rig, but never in the car.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought perhaps someone had picked up talk sports 1089 from London. They have a fabulous signal and have been heard on this side of the pond on multiple occasions.

When I lived in Lubbock a year or two ago, KVOP out of Plainview, TX aired Fox Sports Radio on the weekends.

Not sure if they still do, but I suspect it would be them.
