Hi all,
Thought maybe someone reading this board in the Corning/Elmira area could help me out on this one. I was visiting family in Bath this weekend, and while driving around, I caught a fluttery signal on 107.5 FM. The content was very unusual. A very eclectic mix of 80s New Wave rock, including one song I was able to make out for certain, The Cure's "Fascination Street". The signal peaked at some points while driving, and at other times it disappeared completely. Normally, I would associate this freq. with the CBC station up in Kingston, Ontario, since they've been known to come in very well down here when tropo ducting is happening. But I doubt very much this was Kingston. I'm also sure it wasn't Endwell, or Du Bois, PA. Could this have been the LPRM station in Corning? Does anyone know if indeed they are on the air? (callsign registered is WLRG-LP). If that is what I was hearing, I must say I'm surprised to hear what I heard, considering the station belongs to something called Corning Christian Radio. But then, stranger things have happened.
