Mystery Station..

Anyone know what this station is on 88.9?
The IDENT is CSN on 89.9 TWIN FALLS, IDAHO with a few translators mentioned

Rob

TY - I'll post a list of what I hear with my new rig sometime. Right now, CC would be crying as I'm hearing KICKIN country 108 vs WPFM :(

Surprised Rob's never heard Calvary Chapel's 88.9 translator. It broadcasts from one of the towers near the Gulf Breeze Zoo/Flea Market and has a very strong signal in Pensacola. They must be using a directional antenna? This town has more bumper stickers for "CSN 88.9" than any other radio station... it's been there for well over a decade, although it might have changed frequencies at one time... I'm getting to old to remember things like that.

Yes I had - is that power 88??
No. Power 88 is WBHY 88.5 out of Mobile. They broadcast as a 33kw C1 (yeah, I haven't quite figured the math on that either) from one of the Baldwin County towers near Spanish Fort. Christian pop music for teenagers.... I wonder how big their audience is?

Right now I'm hearing country over BOB FM 105.1 it's amazing how stations are sending full stereo and playing this stuff.

Country 105.1 is also a local station you should already be familiar with. WPFL (W Pensacola F Lorida) from Century, FL (AKA Flomaton, AL).
Check out their TRadio show, you might pick up a good deal on a couch (watch out for bed bugs), or an '85 Toyota with a second engine for spare parts, or (god forbid) a box of slightly used baby clothes.

SONY HD 1 FMHD with TERK FM PRO antenna soon to be a yagi and a wire for AM.
