You can probably pick up a non-comm for much less than that.

The average American can buy an Ipod. You do not have the right to own or program a radio station. But the folks who do pay 40 million for a license and all the other fees to legally run a radio station have a right to try and make a profit without harmful interference from pirates.

This is all the FCC will do. Just keep warning the pirates. They can stay on for 10 more years and never get busted or fined.

Ipods,Satelite Radio and so on, can't give local news,Weather and Sports . I have the right to not listen to Boston's commercial legal TRASH MUSIC STATIONS ( Thank god no one is forcing me to listen to that garbage ). Thank god I live in a area that I can pick up a few good commercial Legal music stations ( Hot 106, 94 WHJY, Fun 107 and 95.5 on sundays ). College and Pirate radio stations are only music stations in Boston worth listening too.

well, the avg Haitian immigrant has $200 to buy a HLY 100watt transmitter on ebay .ahem

one of you said if i don't like the music.

it's not that, Most of the music on 93.7, 104.1, a few on 92.9 is ok. I'm just saying, a station that says "they play everything" should look out there and see what music is out there, there are so many good songs out there that no major Boston radio stations play, that they should play such as example
New Ruben Studdard music
New Changing Faces music
New Whitney Houston music
New Boyz 11 Men music

It's not that I don't like the music

I'm just saying these stations need to focus more on NEW AC music, NEW Urban AC music. Because too many stations play rock and rool and not enough NEW Urban AC
