N.N.E. Arbitron's embargoed?

Can't speak for the others, but Burlington's been embargoed forever. Can't blame anybody for not subscribing...it's not like the formats ever change.

Are all the Northern New England markets embargoed, except for Bangor for the Spring '09 ratings?

As stated above, Burlington's been that way forever, I think Bangor just came out earlier than everyone this year.

No one in Burlington bought rights to the ARB?

That's fantastic, IMHO.

As someone who runs a business, I don't care what "the ratings" look like. When I advertise on a radio station, I want to sell product. If the #1 ARB station in town can't increase my business, their big audience is meaningless to me. If the #5 ARB station happens to have the target audience my business needs, that's the one I'm gonna place my business with.

Arbitron's methodologies are crude and the resulting reports are not especially relevant to someone who owns a business.
