N.O. Radio - Imagine This Scenario:

Just imagine if:

A show host named Hannity was already gone from his usual station as of today,

His old station obviously no longer even promos him because he's officially gone,

A couple of weeks later in March, Hannity suddenly appears on another station locally...a big station...and has his same time slot, following a famous national windbag,

But what would happen to the person already in that slot on the big station? Would he be gone or would they shift the person currently in that time slot to another slot, in which case someone else would have to be removed to make room for him.

Interesting thought, isn't it?

Your friend, the Big Chief

For a change, something of substance on the board - which I only believe because checking said orignal New Orleans home of Hannity's website, there's big gaping hole in the schedule where all that's asked is three hours a day, every day.

The Big 870 with an all syndicated mid-day to afternoon? Will they carry all three hours of Hannity live?

This is certainly an interesting situation.

Hannity will be carried live all 3 hours on his new station.

I like Beck more than Rush Jr anyway

Interesting situation to say the least. If it's WWL Hannity will be on "live", where would that leave Garland Robinette? Gone or on another part of the day? Or could Hannity be tossed on WSMB because Air America is having some problems and would be a good replacement. Too many "ifs" but Entercom looks like the obvious destination if all said is true. Hannity's website still has WTIX and WJBO as stations in SE Louisiana.

The ideal spot for Hannity would delayed on WWL from 7-10pm. It's strange how the KOOL folks haven't surfaced on 105.3 yet or will ever be back. Technical problems keeping them off the air, please! It smells of a cost cutting measure by Entercom. They could keep Vinny Marinello doing sports, which is his true calling. Then, put Bop Mitchell out to pasture and save on that wasted salary. His limp attempt at being funny and that sickening laugh at his own, lame humor makes people lose food they haven't even eaten yet. Plus, if Hannity is live, Timmy Tuber wouldn't be able to fill in on the "think tank".

It will be an interesting few weeks...Get the cattle prods ready.

Will he be filling the 2-5pm as you see it? And why does Moon Griffon never get a NOLA show, even a local one?

Moon (real name: Blaine) Griffon has the diction of some six-pack TV fishing show host. However, he knows Louisiana politics. If he could improve his elocution and vanquish his feeble attempts at imitating Limbaugh, he might make it in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Right now, he's tailor-made for Bawcomville.
