Holy cow! I remember this station gave me my application for my first radio permit in 1979. Isn't their calls the oldest in the state of Arkansas?I practially grew up on this station since Berryville is where my mom was from.

Holy cow! I remember this station gave me my application for my first radio permit in 1979. Isn't their calls the oldest in the state of Arkansas?I practially grew up on this station since Berryville is where my mom was from.

I don't know if it's the oldest set of calls in the state, but it's been around for a long time. I'm also hoping Bunyard will actually do something with it, but I'm not holding my breath. The station has been a faceless satellite country station, at least in most dayparts, for well over a decade now. When I lived in Fayetteville, I could get it, and it wasn't worth listening to. Just last week, a friend and I were driving around Springfield, and his Jeep's radio picked it up. It was still obviously satellite.

I wouldn't expect anything to change anytime soon....The station is cash flowing very well... current owner is staying on board for the time being.
