Anyone here attend NAB 2008? What are some of the highlights of the show? What are some of your favorite new products?
 
One very cool thing I came across was a spec an from Bird for only 6500 bucks. Plus, I have to say, the Telos/Omnia/Axia presence was impressive. Every one involved with the "Livewire" technology had an Axia surface at it, it appeared they were at everyones booth.

The Telos One AM sounded really good....and our booth (Barix) was mobbed....but my favorite thing there was the Nautel 44 kW solid state FM transmitter...
What a box! As perfect an FM as there can be....

Harris and BE are both losing sleep over this box....
 
44 kW Solid State? What's the efficiency rating of that box? Sounds pretty attractive.
 
Any more details on the Omnia 1 AM? How does it stack up against the Orban 9400?

I was a bit skeptical at first, being used to the processors with the screens from both "O" companies. I have to say, I was pretty impressed. Was able to lay hands on it in 2 different areas. If you have a need, take a look at this box. Frank also did a nice little talk on it. It wasn't a paper since it was at the Telos booth.
